DJ Collaboration Agreement for Roy Webb Productions
This Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into as of [Date] between Roy Webb Productions, hereafter referred to as "RWP", represented by [Representative's Name], and [DJ's Legal Name] ("DJ"), also known professionally as [DJ's Stage Name].
1. Collaboration Overview
The DJ shall create complete audiovisual programs ("Content") for use in RWP presentations. The DJ may use AI tools or collaborate with others, with the understanding that their 2.5% share represents 100% of the creative allocation, regardless of external collaborators. DJs may arrange private agreements with other contributors.
2. Ownership and Copyright
The DJ retains full ownership of all submitted programs. The DJ represents that they have secured all necessary rights and indemnifies RWP from any copyright claims or disputes arising from the submitted material.
3. Exclusive Use of Materials
RWP shall have exclusive rights to exhibit the DJ’s content in cinema theaters globally. The DJ retains rights to use the material in all other formats, excluding cinema-based exhibitions, unless otherwise negotiated.
4. Responsibilities and Costs
All production and content development costs are the DJ’s responsibility. RWP will not provide reimbursement. Content remains the DJ’s property except where specified.
5. Rights Granted to RWP
RWP is granted perpetual, royalty-free rights to use the submitted programs in all immersive theater presentations, promotional trailers, social media, branded marketing, and non-ticketed compilations or demo reels.
6. Exhibition Format & Presentation
Programs will be presented electronically by RWP’s Host DJ during Bizarre Rave events. The Host DJ may mix or blend submitted content into the flow of the event. The original DJ will be credited in promotional material, app listings, and event visuals. DJs agree their work may be modified or adapted to match the format of RWP shows.
7. Social Sharing & Recording Consent
DJs acknowledge that attendees may record and post portions of the event that include their content. RWP may also use DJ programs in any public-facing or social promotional channels without compensation. DJs waive any rights to removal or additional compensation for these uses.
8. Future Format Use
DJs grant RWP unrestricted use of their content in new media channels developed by RWP, including TV, web series, and immersive compilations, without further compensation. This clause ensures ongoing promotional presence and brand visibility for the DJ globally.
9. Royalties and Payment Terms
The DJ will receive 2.5% of RWP’s gross ticket revenue for each show using their content, excluding theater operator deductions. It is the DJ’s responsibility to divide royalties with collaborators. Royalties are paid quarterly based on verified ticket sales.
10. Payment & Payout Information
DJ shall provide RWP with accurate legal name, payment method, and tax information. Payments will be issued to the legal name or entity on file. RWP is not liable for payment errors due to incorrect DJ information.
11. Termination Clause
Either party may terminate this Agreement with 180 days' written notice. RWP retains the right to continue using submitted programs under existing terms.
12. Indemnification
The DJ agrees to defend and indemnify RWP from all claims arising from copyright disputes or breach of agreement, including legal fees.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. All disputes shall be resolved by arbitration in Palm Beach County, Florida.
14. Miscellaneous
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. It may be executed digitally or in counterparts. Electronic signatures are valid and enforceable globally.
